I'm a broker, and that changes what I can do for you. Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, DSCR, HELOC, reverse — they all sit on the same desk, so the conversation starts with your situation instead of with the one product I happen to sell.
Having 190+ lenders on the panel means I'm not finding you a loan, I'm finding you the right one. Two lenders can look at the same file and price it very differently, and that gap is real money over the life of the loan. Shopping it properly is most of the work.
I'll be straightforward with you. If a deal doesn't make sense, I'll say so. If there's a better option you haven't considered, I'll show you. Most borrowers walk into a mortgage not knowing what they don't know, and that is exactly where the expensive decisions get made — so I would rather spend the time up front making sure you understand what you are signing and why.
I'm licensed in 20 states and the District of Columbia. If you're buying out of state, relocating, or own property in more than one, that's a conversation we can have rather than a referral somewhere else.
How I work
Understand the goal first
Lowering a payment and paying a loan off faster are opposite loans. Naming the actual objective before shopping anything prevents an expensive mismatch.
Shop the file, not the shelf
The same application goes to multiple lenders. Pricing and guidelines differ enough between them that the right placement is often worth more than a rate negotiation.
Say when it does not make sense
If the numbers do not work, you should hear that before you apply. A deal that costs you money is not a deal I want to close.
